This is either a really lame excuse to break it off or this girl has some issues.
And not knowing she has thingy down does not make you gay (for gods sake!) she was honest to you apart from that she is a woman isn't she? If you love her you will accept her for that thing. Otherwise if you feel thats gonna bother you.... You know what to do, except not post this question on yahoo answers this so personal.

just think how hard it must have been for her to tell u that - surely if she had the guts to confide in you her deepest secret, knowing darn well that you were likely to run a mile, she obviously wants to be honest with you and really loves you. She must have had real guts to tell you that, and that should make u feel honoured. Why not talk to her about it - sit down and really talk, tell her that yeah it freaked u out, but at the same time you love her and it should all work out okay. Good Luck xx

yes, i would certainly break hers off, if he/she/it still had one! lol, but joking aside, i would be very angry if they had waited more than a week to mention it. things like that need to be addressed very soon in the relationship, before either person has invested too much into it. and then its up to you, and your personal tastes. don't make too rash a decision, there was something about them that caught your attention in the first place, so you need to make sure you make your decision to stay or go for the right reasons. i imagine it was a shock, but give it some time and make sure you are happy with what you decide to do. my girlfriend recently told me something about her that upset me alot, and still does when i think about it sometimes, and i know its something that alot of guys would have a REAL problem with. but it wasn't her fault, and it really doesn't affect the way i feel about her, in fact it just made me love her all the more, coz she DID tell me, even though she could have kept it to herself and i would never had known, and she risked losing me as well by telling me. it showed me that she loved me and trusted me enough to tell me her deepest darkest secret, and for me that is the sign of true love... good luck! :D

If there is real affection, why break it off? If you want a family there are ways and means, though life will be challenging.
Life is a test. The test is whether or not we can show unconditional love. I guess you are experiencing a huge test of character. Don't be shallow about it, do what Love would do.

Yes, end it. The person you are involved with still has the dna of a man. I think someone should tell you right away about this before any mental damage is done.

If you saw a women when you looked at her, and if you see a women now then why break it off. Besides the little problem (Figurativly speaking)you would have had is gone now so keep loving the WOMAN you always have

Well she did tell you , it was not her fault you fell in love with her first, if you love her for her - then it should make no difference, she is no longer a man ,

WOW, well, maybe just take it slower, and see if that person is the person you fell in love with, love should have no limits and such. Yet s(he) should have been upfront from the start, would make reason to doubt for future..

Unless your in to that kind of stuff, I would be out of there in a heart beat. You could still be friends, but I personally couldn't live with myself if I had sex with someone who used to be a man and I have a lot of gay friends I just don't swing that way.
