It is more than okay to go jogging on your period. Actually, the more physically fit you are, the less troublesome your 'special time' is supposed to be. I don't remember all the exact reasons why this is true, but I can say that when I work out regularly things always go better for me. I find that my mood is better, I have fewer cramps, and my period is actually shorter (4 days) compared to when I am in a no workout routine (6-8 days). I found this website (listed it below) with some stuff that may help. Happy exercising!

Unless your period is intervening your activity, meaning it's so heavy and accompanied by stomach cramps/pains that you can't get off to exercise, jogging is fine and a fab exercise during your period.

If your period is problematic, exercise will help to relieve you from the problem and if you've premenstrual syndrome, exercise helps too to relieve the syndrome.

Way aye keeping fit whilst on your period is fine. Just have suitable sanitary protection and you will be fine.. Exercise during periods is really good for you especially at those times of the month as it releases good hormones (endorphins) so i guess it will make the pmt and the pmssssss a litlle more bearable for you or loved ones..

Yes go ahead. Jogging on your periods reduces the need for painkillers. You also don't suffer from PMT or PMS as much and you don't get the terrible mood swings associated with them either. Get out and have fun.

Yes you can. Having your period doesn't stop you from exercise. Some people say it helps to reduce the cramping too.
