why is it ok for men to just pop out down the pub go to footy buy new cloths have a bet and dont worry about enyone else but us women forget dinner or not irion a shirt propaly and well were in the wrong is there nice helpfull loveing men out there?

There are some but not many for all of us! It is our fault for spoilling them. If you are with a guy like that try to explain how difficult it all is, (some women work 8-10 hours & have to be mothers to their kids, mistresses to their husbands and cleaners for their houses. 24 hours are not enough!) he should either not have many expectations or help out himself. Even when a woman is not working outside the home (where she does plenty already) she deserves a day off! not to mention the male attitude of throughing clothew here & there expecting the wife-house maid to pick them up. Please, guys, give us a break! Some consideration! Please! No wonder women get older sooner than men and have so many headaches.

I'd say that you just happen to be in a rotten relationship, or have been and carry the scars of it around with you...not all men deal with their women this way, and to be honest with you, I find it embarassing when a man can't cook, sew, wash and dry his own clothes, or find it necessary to blame the woman he sleeps with when his sorry home-life is falling apart. Especially when he contributes nothing but money to the upkeep of his castle! You'd better screen your dates a little more carefully and stop bringing dead weight to the new man and bedroom...

Men are selfish. And so is everyone else. Woman are also selfish. None of us are perfect. There are ways to improve a selfish person though. Try being so unselfish that he stops and stares. If he asks why you are acting that way, tell him that you are being the opposite of him. Be nice about it. Maybe he doesn't know he is being selfish. Or just ask him to think about you more often. Why do most women think that most men are that way? Most of us aren't. You are more than likely looking in the wrong places. Don't look for guys in Bars/Clubs. Those aren't the type you'd want anyway.
If you are looking in those types of places that is the type of person that you will find. However if you look in better places, like colleges, local stores, parks, & places like that then you are going to be looking in better places. Meaning you'll find better people.
And please stop thinking that we're all evil or perfect, because we aren't.

Yes - there are some lovely guys out there. However, us girls need to stand up for ourselves a bit more. Put the iron down and pick up the phone and meet up with your friends, pop down the pub for a spot of lunch and do a bit of shopping. Play him at his own game. If he doesn't like it, let him find someone else to be his slave. Good luck. x

Those nice helpful loving guys are all over the place, but you have likely placed them in the just friends category or ignored them completely.
Why? Because you actually like a strong assertive and sometimes selfish guys.
It's ironic, women complain about their boyfriends who are like this, but keep seeing them in droves.

Well the first thought to come to mind is, "men are pigs or dogs" but I'm not into men bashing. They tend to forget that women are different from them and not being a woman themselves they really don't understand our points of view. That's why there is the sisterhood, men are afraid of that. This is my advice to you, don't let the comments of any man no matter what it is about, to get you down or ruin your day. You have to make you happy and you have control of your life.

The stupidity of both men and women has created that sort of situation. The fact is, there are men who wouldn't dream of behaving like that, and there are women who expect and encourage their men to act like that.

Ive got to say your brilliant maz

men are selfish because:
they think there the best
they think they can boss you around
they think its still the olden day where women to everything
they think you should wait on them hand on foot
they think you should be the house wife
they think just because they work its harder than you work
We have got to give them there due though :
sometimes there romanctic
they dont always like to sleep *wink*!!!
and if youve got kids they gave you the most brilliant people in the world
o and there good to look at
not all men are selfish
just most of them!!!!

They are taught from a very early age to do this, They watch there father and grandfathers and learn. This is very old school. I have a wonderful Husband that does help around the house and does try to do helpful things. I do have to ask for him to help do things but he will do them with out a problem. We are now trying very hard to raise our boys to be kind and concentrate and help and do things for them self's.
Be patient and kind and ask for help. If they continue to act the way they do the best thing I learned is to KILL WITH KINDNESS. It works every time.
