Unbelievable amounts. I was a christian once and I am ashamed of the history of Christianity. I guess Jesus is too. I don't think the church can ever wash the blood from its hands and Islam is just repeating the same pattern unfortunately. Violence and intolerance always seem to be top of the agenda.

How much blood, apart from the blood of Jesus, was Protestantism founded? Buddhism? Judaism? Islam? The wars the Catholic Church were involved in were just wars. If you are a Christian you would either be a Muslim or an Arian now if not for the Catholic Church. Be thankful.

Peace and blessings!

The Catholic Church was also founded on the blood of hundreds of martyrs of the early Church including all but one of the Apostles.

Here is a list of some of them: http://www.cryingvoice.com/Christian_martyrs/1cent_pers.html

With love in Christ.

Catholics have spilled the blood of Protestants and protestants have spilled the blood of Catholics.

Isn't it about time to let the wounds heal?
