Our tendency to evil instead of good - adultery, greed, violence, etc. even when we know it is not fair. It is called our fallen nature.
Peace and every blessing!

some scientific say that some people fat not because of the food / live style of the person but it is somehow caused by the 'gene'.
So do you believe if a person carried the 'unpleasant past experiences' that planted in their ancestor long long times ago and keep accumulating from 1 generation to the other generation, i believe some people is born 'evilly' and this evil would be burst after sometimes.
Of course bad gene not definitely would be passing down to next generation as we need to calculate the percentage of possibilities, eg. father has diabetes, doesn't mean all the sons / daughters will get it. maybe 1 of them have it, or none of them have it but the grandson might have it ... so on.

Your view is pretty much the traditional Christian view. As late as the Synod of Orange, Christian theologians insisted that human nature is good, created in the image of God, and that physical mortality simply creates the inclination toward self-preservation. You need to study Eastern Orthodox theology - start with 'St. Paul on Original Sin' by Romanides.

The world around us that dampens our spirit is comprised of us, so perhaps our sin is the collective dampening of individual spirits.

Think about it, what the Bible mentions as being sins are all the things that cause us hardships in life.
Adultery ( Divorce)
Sex outside of marriage ( Watch Maury and you can see all the bad things about doing that)
Murder (Self explanatory)
To Covet which is to want what others have (Greed, theft, which can lead to murder)
Everything that God asks us to do can come back to love and keeps us out of trouble and hardships.

There is no "proof." There is only opinion. I personally do not believe in sin as "sin" in the biblical sense. I believe that we can only sin against ourselves. Such as in hurting ourselves physically, emotionally, and mentally. Like when we don't listen to our inner selves. Regret is one of our personal sins.

look at the world that should show you how evil men are. we are born naturaly selfish and I am sure that is the course of most sin. we have to learn to love others as our selves.
