hello;first of all,i belive i get what you mean, but yes i do belive that people should be allow even more than one chance and heres why.how many mistakes have you made in your life, and some over an over an over, yet God forgave you didn't he?also think about your parent's and how many chances they gave you throughout your life time, and still do.
but now after you or someone else whichever the case may be had done whatever that was in the eye's of most everyone a (horriable)(detestiable)thing,i understand that there is a lack of trust towards that person.it can really be hard to do,and sometimes you feel that you can never trust them again, but alway's rember that we are not greater than God,and if we refuse to forgive other people that God said he would not forgivr us either.if God can forgive us all the detesiable things that we have done in his sight, who do we think that we are not to seeing he is God.do the very best that you can,God knows your heart.

To the first part: parents do this all the time for their children.
I don't know if I'd give up my life for someone who didn't deserve it because my death would impact many people I love and they don't deserve that.
Should everyone get a second chance no matter what they did. Hmm, well, should a serial killer get a second chance? What about someone who has kidnapped, raped and murdered small children? I don't think "a second chance" is the words I would use. I would think that everyone deserves "a chance at rehabilitation." If that's what you mean by "second chance" then ok.

First of all,we all get ONE chance at Life, no matter what, that's what I believe on the "Chances Thing".Now as far as giving my Life up for someone who did or didn't "deserve" it, Yes I am willing to risk my Life to save someone else in a "Life or Death situation". It wouldn't matter to me who it was.

Since you put this in religion, I assume you mean giving up your life/soul/cat to a God. No, I would not. I like to think that my achievements in life came from my hard work and effort.
And no I do not think people should get second chances. They used their first chance and blew it. They consciously made a bad decision and should have to live with the consiquences. I don't believe this "forgive me father for i have sinned" or "redemption" or anything. That just gives people the excuse to do bad things, because they can just be forgiving by God and everything's right again.

Hopefully I would be willing to give up my life for someone undeserving, seeing as that is what my whole life is based on--the death of Jesus for me. As to second chances, that depends. I don't think that those who are left after the Rapture will have a "second" chance, but I do believe that until Christ returns to earth, people have every chance to repent and believe.

I did... not worth it. Love is about giving/receiving. If someone is just taking and not giving that person is a parasite. If someone gives everything, there will be nothing left to give and the person will move on.
