I'm a christian and when I ask a question that I want Christian views on I don't want to have to scroll through to find Christian answers. I believe if atheist want to share their views then they should have their own category also. And no I don't care about non-christian views and don't care to be educated on them. No matter how close minded atheist might think I am.

I might think that is ignorant to read my question and miss the fact that I do want other's views just not atheist views.

yeah right!

the bible sellers will infiltrate thw atheism room to "convert"/ "save the souls of" poor godless(and lost) atheists

and the atheists will roam into christian room to make the blind christians listen to sense and look at the world scientifically and logically.

And what about Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, Zoroastrians, Wiccans , Mormons etc? They 'll all demand their own rooms, and then all the 1000 different sects in christianity will ask for their own category.

And think of all the people who'll be confused and ask questions in the wrong category. Do you ask question about crisis of faith in Christianity or Atheism?

If you want an exclusive Christianity question And Answers, Why not make a Yahooo group, And control it with an iron hand to make sure that Atheists don't come in and hurt your feelings?

But why am I even suggesting that? Be on yahoo answers and add people you like to you Network. That way people you want answers from would find out immediately whenever you ask a question.

Seperating the two would just cause more conflict between them. I like the good questions on here that spark intelligent debates and don't become childish arguments. That's the good part about including everyone, sometimes you get really good discussions where it doesn't matter which belief you have. Sadly, the bulk of the questions are cheapshots at atheists or christians by the other, and those questions spark more cheapshots and so it becomes a vicious cycle of childish arguments.

The Atheists have told the Christians many times exactly why they are here on R&S. Christianity is everywhere! Christianity is invading our schools, our government, etc. They impose their beliefs on people and think that their religion is superior to ALL other religions (which you just demonstrated). I'm really sorry that you can't hang, honey. It seems that you would do better to laugh when you see their answers...you already know you're right.

What for. i've got no longer something against athiests who convey actual nicely theory out debate to the table. i individually make area of getting to know each and every reliable element that i think of an athiest will strengthen to verify if there's a valid and actual looking defence. the certainty could be waiting to stand up to such criticism and scrutiny. as quickly as I come across there's a defence it strengthens my faith. so a ways i haven't arise against a controversy i haven't stumbled on a actual looking rebuttal for. on the top of the day athiests and Christians (or different non secular types) are provided with the comparable data, it quite is merely our interpretations and viewpoints that fluctuate. although I certainly have low tolerance for the self righteous idiots who do no longer something yet bash religions and their followers by fact "they're desirable" and we are "stupid". you could easily look into issues in case you will mount a respected challenge. Likewise in case you opt to contemporary a respected defence.

Am I allowed to answer this one?

Sure, I think they should. But that won't prevent atheists from answering questions in the Christian category, and Christians answering in the atheist category. Nor should it.

As it is, the atheists tend to keep their religious views to R&S while the christians feel they must put their views over the ENTIRE of Yahoo Answers. It is already very obvious that a christian category would not work. Atheism cannot very readily be discussed outside the context of religions, so an atheism category probably would not work either.

Atheists should have their own section no doubt. I have asked the ? repeatedly why are atheists lurking in R&S in the first place? Like egocentric philosophy that can be debated for days on end without reaching a conclusion: I don't want to debate with someone so foolish they don't even believe in God. "Avoid endless debates". Yeah I would vote for them to have their own room.
Of course some of them will always come over here and some Christians will probably go to any category.

It is an open forum. The same thing would happen in a new category. If you wish to only deal with other Christians, try going to church.

If we had a Christian category and they had an Atheist category it would not help. There would still be trolls on both sides as well as atheists trying to ridicule and convert even when they are not addressed.
(Yes I know there would be Christians doing the same but that is not my complaint. I'll let the atheists make their own complaints)

What good would that do? Gays and Lesbians have their own category but the homophobes still flood in. Same would be true if you had separate Christian and Atheist categories.
