Ohhhh... I LOVE that show!! I just started watching that show. A classmate of mine turned me on to it. It is fun to study the cases from that show. ANyway, I saw an episode where he pulled up his pant leg and he had a huge chunk of his thigh missing and a big scar. I dont exactly know what happend, but he definitely got 'hurt' somehow. :)

He had a muscle infarction which took 3 days to diagnose.
infarct: an area of coagulation necrosis in a tissue due to local ischemia resulting from obstruction of circulation to the area, most commonly by a thrombus or embolus

i think in one show that the teacher had a worm in her leg he thought of the idea about her legs ands such beacuse of his, whatever it was in that same show it had stated that they tried to fix his leg with surgery and Cuddy (the head of the hospital) had them do something that messed up permenatly. I havent seen yet the actual cause of the orginal problem but i love the show....!

Through a mis-diagnoses a doctor thought he had a spinal problem and his leg was involved. Simply surgery would have saved the muscle but they let it go and, the muscle in his leg died.

i think is thigh muscle is dead. But i love that show and he cracks me up popping vicodin's all the time??????
