BTW if you didn't know the character is asian, of some kind, it looks japanese.

永 : yǒng (Chinese) means forever / always / perpetual (ly)

永 : ei (Japanese) means (adj-no,adj-na,n) eternity; perpetuity; immortality; permanence

It says "yong" (pronounced like yo! and ng, so yo-ng)

The æ°¸ "yong" character on your shirt is short for "yong yuan (yuan is pronounced like you-en)" or "yong jiu (jiu is pronounced like gee-o)."

永远 "yong yuan" means permanent and eternal,
and 永久"yong jiu" means forever and eternally.
