Well I would think that any charity that deals with the orphan situation would be valuable and highly needed. Orphanages in China are virtually overrun, especially by female children and they desperately need our help. You can volunteer or send donations from several sites online, just do a search for Chinese orphanages.
Second to orphanages would be healthcare access. In many of the rural areas there are adults who have issues like minor birth defects and there are children who die of easily vaccinated against diseases everyday.
