Although i believe there is probably a God I do not believe that just one religon is right... Like can you explain how black people or native americans came into existance if we are all the sons/daughters of adam and eve? How are people different colors and how do people speak different languages if we all came from adam and eve? Or what about dinosaurs or those prehistoric monkey humans scientists have found?

The bible just doesnt make sense??? I'm so confused :(

my neighbor says (and honestly believes) that adam and eve were white and that darker skinned people happened because they sinned too much. she's kinda crazy.

seriously though, no one ever said adam and eve were white. they're just portrayed that way.

and the language thing is explained in the bible--tower of babel

How did black people or native Americans come into existence if we are all the sons and daughter of Adam and eve.?

So you are assuming that Adam and eve were what..? White.

You need to read about the tower of Babel and then you will know why and how we speak different languages.

Just because dinosaurs and pre historic monkeys are not spoke about in the bible does NOT mean they did not exist back then. It just means they did not play a role at the time things were written down.

The easy answer would be to say that there are things that God does that we don't have the answer for. But you probably want some more than that.

In a biblical sense, languages came about when the people in Babylon tried to build a tower to get into heaven. This made God angry,as people were trying to circumvent God to get back to him (you need to obey God's law to enter into heaven, on a side note), so he changed all their languages. Other languages have come about as those original languages have been corrupted and merged with other ones. After that, men scattered to the wind.

This is just my opinion, but native Americans and African Americans probably came about as a result of this "dispersion." It's much the same as how a person from China came here decades ago; now their descendants speak English, when the original migrants to the U.S. didn't speak a word of English. In other words, people adapt to different environments as they go.

Ultimately, as I said before, there are things that God has not revealed to His children, for wisdom in Him. It doesn't really matter to me, all humans are God's children, but for some reason we are all slightly different, be it by race or hair color, or whatever reason. In time, though, all will be revealed.

Perhaps hominids and dinosaurs have something to do with the grand plan.

I hope I didn't confuse you more.

Cheers!!!

It is obvious that God created Adam and Eve with genes to make differnt colours.
God made people speak different languages at the Babel.(Read the Tower of Babel).
Archaelogists have discovered drawings which show humans interacting with dinosaurs. The Bible talks about huge beasts like Behemoth and Leviathan.

God was not interested in giving Moses a scientific treatise on the creation of the world. The Bible indicates that God's communication to Moses was centered on the relationship between God and man and the rules by which God wanted man to live. Therefore, the creation account mirrors the content of the rest of the Bible, which centers on mankind and his relationship to God. "Why would God leave out a description of the dinosaurs?" is a bad one to begin with. A more appropriate question should be "What would God want to relate to man about His description of the creation?"

According to the Bible, all people today descended from the survivors of a great Flood - Noah's family, who in turn descended from Adam and Eve (Gen 1:11). There are many stories, from many parts of the world, of a great Flood that only several people survived to repopulate the earth.
But today we have many different groups, often called "races" with what seem to be greatly differing features. The most obvious of these is skin color. Some see this as a reason to doubt the Bible's record of history. They believe that the various groups could have arisen only by evolving separately over tens of thousands of years. However, this does not follow from the evidence.
The Bible tells us how the population that descended from Noah's family had one language and were living together and disobeying God's command to "fill the earth" (Gen 9:1, 11:4). God confused their language, causing a break-up of the population into smaller groups, which scattered over the earth (Gen. 11:8-9). Modern genetics shows how, following such a break-up of a population, variations in skin color, for example, can develop in only a few generations. And there is good evidence to show that the various groups of people we have today have NOT been separated for huge periods of time.
One could say there is really only one race - the human race. The Bible teaches us that God has "made from one blood all nations of men" (Acts 17:26. Scripture distinguishes people by tribal or national groupings, not by skin color or physical features. Clearly, though, there are groups of people, who have certain features (e.g. skin color) in common, which distinguish them from other groups. We prefer to call these "people groups" rather than "races," to avoid the evolutionary and racist connotations that have become associated with the word "race."
All peoples can intermarry and produce fertile offspring. This shows that the biological differences between the "races" are not great. In fact, the DNA differences are trivial. The DNA of any two people in the world would typically differ by just 0.2%. Of this, only 6% can be linked to racial categories; the rest is "within race" variation.
This genetic unity means, for instance, that white Americans, although ostensibly far removed from black Americans in phenotype, can sometimes be better tissue matches for them than other black Americans.

Those who believe in a younger age for the earth tend to agree that the Bible does mention dinosaurs though it never actually uses the word “dinosaur.” Instead, it uses the Hebrew word tanniyn (pronounced tan-neen; Strong’s #08577). Tanniyn is translated a few different ways in our English Bibles; sometimes it’s “sea monster,” sometimes it’s “serpent.” It is most commonly translated “dragon.” The tanniyn appear to have been some sort of giant reptile. These creatures are mentioned nearly thirty times in the Old Testament and are found both on land and in the water.

In addition to mentioning these giant reptiles in general nearly thirty times throughout the Old Testament, the Bible describes a couple of creatures in such a way that some scholars believe the writers may have been describing dinosaurs. Behemoth is said to be the mightiest of all God’s creatures, a giant whose tail is likened to a cedar tree (Job 40:15ff). Some scholars have tried to identify Behemoth as either an elephant or a hippopotamus. Others point out that elephants and hippopotamuses have very thin tails, nothing comparable to a cedar tree. Dinosaurs like the Brachiosaurus and the Diplodocus on the other had huge tails which one could easily compare to a cedar tree.

Not all Christians take the bible literally. The Adam and Eve story is a story to convey truth. That is all. Science and Religion do not have to be total enemies.

Why just "christians?," aren't you confused enough already without adding more to it. Though my faith is "also' called part of christianity, it is far from it and far LESS "confusing." To "lessen" your confusion believe "first" in "yourself." Then believe in the fact GOD in heaven gave you a BRAIN to use and to TRUST on the minds of those who ALSO use them. If Science says what is FACT, quit listening to those who relly only ASSUMPTIONS and the PAST for answers. Much has changed over the course of the last 3000 years and don't you think it's time the world gets an UNDATE on "who" God is and that he WANTS people who make the efforts for themselves. I doubt he wants to fill up heaven with a bunch of mindless robots asking HIM what to do each and every minute of the day as some of these religious persons do already.....................

Some people think God created the world around 6000 years ago. But if you can get away from that and think more like , God created the world a long time ago. And everything happened that happened. You can't out smart God . God can do anything and make it look like something else. Its better to just try to get to heaven. and not try to out smart God.
