Money is tight this month. I live an hour away from my grand daughter, she always likes me there to watch her. Will I have enough money for gas to go watch her?

Your question is terribly flawed. I don't know you. I don't know your income. If it's a question of morality then you'd be satan incarnate if you did not attend her game as all good grandparents would. Go to her game, take the bus if you have to, elderly people shouldn't be driving themselves anyhow. Have your son/daughter take you if it's so hard. If your relationship with them isn't good, perhaps theft is an option.

Awww. I think you can spare some money to go watch her. Then again, it depends on how 'tight' the money situation really is. There will be other games!

To be honest I think it's your children's job to watch their grand child's game.
If you can make it to one (!) game - that's great. You don't have to overdue it. You can show your grand daughter in other ways how much you love her (send her a post card).
