Hey, Pong would have convinced them I was God. If I'd have whipped out World of Warcraft - their heads would have just exploded.

I find it surprising that people still cling to those "supernatural" tales of Jesus. None of those so called miracles were ever reported by ANY of the writers of that time.
Pliny, Eusebius and many others wrote about every detail and every happening from 100 BC intil 100 AD but not once did they report any special healing or raising from the dead. If such a thing had happened, it is certain that there would have been a tremendous rush to ""REPORT THE STORY FIRST" as there was much competition among writers at that time. All their writings are still preserved and available to read (in the archives) but only a few lines about Jesus, saying that he was a rabbi and that he had a loyal following.
However 75 years AFTER his death, these supernatural stories appeared in three of the four gospels but NONE in the first (Mark).
Scholars say that Jesus' example of love and forgiveness drew people toward him and to his teachings. Most important in his early teaching was that if you became one of his followers you could be forgiven your past sins.
This was most remarkable and NOT part of the other hard line religions offered the people (and the Governor) at the Nicea Council ln May 325 and it was because of this provision, it is thought, that Constantine and the 325 bishops chose CHRITIANITYY to be the offical religion henceforth.
Even without those "supernatural" deeds the fact that no man has ever had the influence on people's lives as Jesus has had. It is just a shame that some people still perpertuate the folklore and myth when none of that is required for the leader of the Christian church to-day. The sad thing is that Jesus example of brotherly love and turning the other cheek is SELDOM practiced in this day and age.
As for restoring the blind and raising people from the dead there are so many recorded cases of people suddenly recovering their sight and of people who have been declared dead by doctors, suddenly recovering IN THE MORGUE and even in the CASKET after being buried. When these cases of "histerical blindess recover" occur in a church or in front of a pastor the "reverend" is often given the credit and is considered a "miracle maker".
Most eclesiastical scholars now agree that the
supernatural happenings were "ADDED" to the gospels by well-meaning clerics in order to make them more "awe inspring".

My bible says nothing about Jesus healing the blind. In Jesus words it says "your faith has healed you", not I (Jesus) have healed you. If Jesus had a laptop and he had programmed it to teach people that the ability to "heal themselves" was already programmed within themselves by their creator, most people would still not believe or apply it because they fail to understand the teachings of Jesus now.

No way. Laptop is for personal use, whereas, healing the blind and others is a service to humanity, which is more prefereable and more rewarding.

He had one but no one else did so it was totally useless.
Raising the dead was even more impressive than healing the blind.
