Would that turn you off? Is is better to bring up the fact you are a single father from the very start as I have done prior (I believe honesty is the best policy) or wait until later to let a woman know? I ask because the fact I have a 5 year old was described by one woman as "too much drama" she did not say that to me but to others I know. I get the impression from the questions and answers I have read that nice, stable men are not what most women seem to want, (sorry but read some of the posts on here and that is what it seems like) and having a child seems to make me less in demand. I ask the question to see if that is the general feeling with women or have I just been unlucky with those I have met? Please be honest with your answers. Thanks!!

I think you should always be honest. What an immature woman to make a comment like that. It is better that you learned sooner than later. If a woman cannot accept your child then she is not worth it! It would turn me off more if a man had a child(ren) whom he didn't acknowledge. Be a proud dad, and the right woman will be along some day. Honesty is the best policy, and that makes you very attractive. :)

Wow. Well, the last two guys I dated had kids. I think you should be honest...and tell them up front. Why invest the time with someone, start having feelings and risk throwing that in...most women would be upset that you either didnt tell them from the beginning...or it makes you look like you don't care about your kids. I would think knowing you were a caring single dad...should be a bonus.

Society is fixated on unimportant issues like age...merely look at your question. Why won't be able to a 38 year previous or 40 seven year previous or in spite of answer? Why won't be able to a guy answer? truthfully men even heterosexual ones have an opinion on what makes an attractive looking male....I easily comprehend an attractive woman as quickly as I see one. anyhow... on the grounds that i do no longer choose on seems in any respect i won't be able to truly answer as though i like his heart and his soul mixes completely with mine then seems do no longer count in any respect.

I think you should be up front and that you have just been unlucky. Maybe you should try to find a single mother. There more likely to be looking for the same things as you.

if a man i liked told me he is a single father and has a 5 year old it would make me like him even more. if he can take care of a child alone it means he will be able to take care of me. it means he is more responsible and less likely to be playing games.

Don't wait to share that information until later on.

i think you should let women know up front..then you don't get as hurt if they decide they won't go there...
personally, i think a guy with kids is a bonus..i love kids and chose never to have them myself...so i love to enjoy other people's kids...
