For those of you who don’t know, i was talking about a POW-prisoner of war- you cant take them to court- they just go to some detainment prison and are released after the war unless the committed a war crime, doing there job doesn’t count as a war crime, it just pisses you off.

None of these questions are relevant at the moment. Until an event above actually occurs any answer I give now would undoubtedly change depending on the circumstances of that event.

To put it another way, by the time an event as in the above questions occurs I could theoretically be living in a country I don't believe in anymore - a factor that is not addressed in these questions. Blissfully that is not the case now, but I can't speak for the future.

Example: For question 1, if my country was invaded today, I can honestly say I would take up arms against the invader. However, what if your country happens to be Nazi - era Germany? If my country's government became that fascist and viciously corrupt in the future, I'd probably consider all alternatives should such an event occur.

10. Probably not - would need specifics. Basically, you go to war not only to defend your country or people, but because you also believe in your country and its laws, etc.
You are also defending its laws and justice system.
So, you would need to abide by your country's laws.

This question is irrelevant. As a newly Naturalized U.S. Citizen, I believe that you should be willing to fight for your country regardless of any situation. To qoute the Naturalization Oath, "I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign an domestic... I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required... So help me God". I am in the military and am very proud to serve, especially when a lot of people my age are to cowardly to protect and serve their country. Almost every other country in the world has a mandatory military service requirement, I think the U.S. should do the same. Maybe people wouldn't take this beautiful country for granted like they do.

No i would not kill a prisoner because that would hurt the war effort But yes I would go to war for all those reasons because even if my country was going to lose because our soldiers have to go so who is to say my life is worth more then theres

I beleive it is every TRUE americans duty to fight for this country NO matter what if called upon!!! I would go I may not agree with everything going on but I'm not there to agree I'm there to fight for yours and my freedom!!!!
