theres this guy in one of my classes this year. he is sooo cute. but sooo shy. but for me, i love shy, cute guys with big brown eyes. and thats him.

we were in a project together, but now that the project is over i dont talk to him in that class. i lost my chance at asking him to hang out :( so one day after school i was hanging out with my best friend and i wrote a note to him. just to you know see what i would say if i had the chance. but now im actually kinda thinking about giving him the note. do you think thats really like 5th gradish?? (im in 11th)

it only said like "i think we should hang out" with a few funny inside jokes that went around our group in the class.

should i give it to him? i mean what could go wrong? lol it might be kinda cute.

Lol, so sweet, and I know what you mean. Especially about those big brown eyes. Anyway you're only in high school once, trust me because I speak from experience you'll regret doing nothing, much more then doing something and have it go bad. Take the opportunity before it really dose pass you by. Give him the note, or better yet swallow that lump and just go talk to him for him a bit and bring it up. I remember doing that so many times, and it was hard! But so worth it. And like I said the times I didn't I really, really regret. The worst that can happen is rejection, it hurts, but you'll move on. Better to be rejected and know then to be left wondering.

Hand him a note. Just not that one. The words aren't direct enough. A shy person would think you're teasing him or making fun of him. Shy comes from a form of insecurity. So... be direct and in the note say that you will follow it up with a call (if he could give you his number). Whatever... it needs a follow-up action described. Otherwise, he won't know what to do with it.

I think you should. Just don't put anything incriminating in it, like how much you have a crush on it, that might come back to bite ya in the butt later. "I think we should hang out", with a couple other jokes seems innocent enough. Its a nice neutral statement, so if he says something like he has a girlfriend, you can always say, "I just wanted to hang out and be friends, not get married"!!! Anyway, just try it... Hopefully when & if you guys hang out, if the chemistry is there, than you can take it further, ya know! Good luck!!!

Why don't you just tell him face to face? Are you shy too? Why did you stop talking to him after the project ended? Be brave and talk to him in person. The wors thing he could do is say no he doesn't want to hang out with you. If he says no, at least you took a chance.

It's been a thousand years since I was in school but I say you write down your name and phone number on a piece of paper and give it to him (nothing else on it)---I wanted to talk to you more and give you my number while in class but never did, so if you'd like give me a call. Here's my phone no. and hand him the paper! Bite your nails and wait by the phone and hope for a call!! LOL!! Bet ya get a call!

It could be cute.... I guess you know him better than us.

Otherwise just really casually say to him next time you bump into him- 'Hey I saw an add for "whichever" movie, and after that project we did I thought you might be interested. I'm thinking of going "whever date/time" heres my number if you want to come keep me company' and give him your number on a peice of paper (big peice- harder to loose)

Whatever you do- good luck.

Don't give him a note! That's something 7th graders do. Show him you are bold enough and that you like him enough to come up to him and ask him in person.
Don't put any pressure on, though. Just ask him casually. Consider leaving the ball in his court.

personally I say give him the note, at the end of the day you won't be any worse off if he isn't interested, sure...you might feel silly for a while but it'll pass, you never know what you could be missing out on. :)

some "nerds, or not cool kids" might like it. But most guys it's turn off and way to immature. Notes are for 4th graders.
