That is very strange. I would find a way to get to that church on Sunday and see what his other wife looks like.

He may just assume that if you wanted to go you'd speak up about it. If you're from different religious backgrounds, he may also be hesitant to ask out of fear that you'd feel pressured or offended in some way -- especially if you live together and things are getting more "serious" he might not want you to feel like he's trying to convert you. I wouldn't feel bad that he hasn't asked you -- it's not the most romantic of activities and he may have just not thought of it as something you'd do together.

Alternatively, if he's really traditionally religious, he might just feel uncomfortable with having to admit to his church buddies that he's living with someone without being married. If that's the case, you'll have to work that out.

maybe hes going to see another woman. maybe he has a different religion than you (for example your are protestant and he is lutheran or whatever the other catholic thing is) personally im an atheist i dont believe in "god" so if my girl went to church without me then good more sleep for me! i wouldnt want to waste my time at church every sunday. there is no god OPEN YOUR EYES

if your really curious then ask a friend to follow him and see where he goes....

Are you sure he's going to Church? And even if he is, the fact he leaves you behind is a control thing...Be very aware of whats happening and don't get into this relationship too deep or too quick...

I am guessing the main reason is because as both of you may already know you are not suppose to live together and not be married, maybe it bothers him that people may ask who you are and find out you are his live in girlfriend.

it could be many reason that he feel as he does, so ask him
what really going on. but it sound like the fact that you are
living together and going ot church may be something that
may cause a ear view..

maybe he thinks you are not the right one yet. he probably doesnt want to introduce you to the congregation yet. just stop and think about what the church would think if he would bring all the women hes ever dated to church! just be patient! may the lord bless you. try to pray to god and ask god to put it in his heart to take you. could help!

If he is not inviting you to go with him something is very wrong with that. This one you have to ask him point blank and get your answer. This could be a warning sign for you about the rest of your relationship. Be strong, ask him why.
Good Luck!

Maybe he is ashamed of something. You should tell him how you feel and that you would like to go with him as a couple on Sunday's.
