Are there any medications that can help stop chronic neurological pain in quadriplegics? Something that does not make the person tired or the feeling of being high.

I use Lyrica for nerve pain, one of the newer ones out on the market, after trying many of the others before, this one seems to help take a little bit of the burn out of the pain. Talk to your doctor about this and see what they suggest. If you see a general practitioner....go see a neurologist.

I have osteo-arthritis in the severe degenerative stages and have had nine surgeries in four years. I live with pain. I take Vicidine and Lyrica, the Lyrica is $240.00 a month though. It's good.
There are a lot of things out there, don't go for this mail order crap over the Internet, you don't know what your getting.

Gapapentin is one med that works well and there are tons of other new ones on the market. See your doc and start trying some of the newer meds for nero pain.
