i want to stretch my ears but i told my best friend and she said she though that girls with plugs looked like dykes. im not agreeing or disagreeing with her, but i was wondering what other peoples thoughts were about girls with plugs.

I'm super-straight, and I have 5 piercings in each ear.
My helix is a 16g.
My lobes start at a 10g, then a 12g, then 2 sets of 14g. I assure you, I am very feminine and not at all "dyke-y"
It has a lot to do with your over all apperance, your attitude, and the jewelry you choose to wear.
Having said that, who gives a damn if you look like a dyke? Why should you let other peoples' opinion of you stop you from doing something you want?

I think everyone with plugs look like idiots. You realize when you're 40 and you don't want those ridiculous things in your ears you're gonna have a huge gaping hole right? The only way to fix it is with surgery which will still leave you looking stupid. Get something simple like a nose or eyebrow ring. If you take it out it leaves a very small hole almost unnoticable.

I think very FEW girls can pull them off, others just look stupid and depending on the gauge most won't go back without surgery. Whoever gets them should think about it long and hard lol.

They are absolutely hideous. Why on earth would anyone want to make their earholes huge like that? I mean, I'm all for being unique, but not to the extent where it's just nasty. Think about what's gonna happen when you're like 60 and your earlobes start drooping! UGH.
Sorry...you wanted my opinion and I just gave it. And you can always do what you want to your body-you're in control (even if you want to make huge holes in it).
