I do not think I want this relationship to work. He is in Africa on business, and we chat on-line. Helost his wife 4 yrs ago, but he is moving to fast for me. Now he wants to marry me and that he already knows I am his soul-mate. I hurt his feelings the other day cause I would not give him 300.00. I was not going to be conned in any way. He seems like a pretty nice guy with the conversations we have, and I do have his picture. I mean we have been talking on-line--and it is like BAM he wants me and desires me. I gave him no address where I live or anything. Should I go ahead and dump him? I mean I have feelings but it maybe the talk we have shared together that makes me feel good. What should I do? Pursue this relationship or back out. We have only been on-line together for 2 weeks. Give me advice please.

BACK OUT!

its the talks you have had that give you the feelings you have. ofcourse people like it when others sweet talk them. it feels good. but this man just sounds like a creep to me. asking for money, when he is on business? does this business pay him in peanuts? something seems odd with this all. since its been two weeks i say let it go and look for someone in your own town. your own country for that matter.

i wish you the best

There are so many scams on the internet and perhaps in his
country $300. is a small fortune. If he liked you so much then
your inability to give him the money making him upset shows
you his true intensions. If you have only known him for 2 weeks
and he is asking for money from you from a foreign country
there are a million red flags flying saying don't do it. Meeting
someone worthwhile does not include someone who would not
be self sufficient and need your resources.

Back out, any guy that would ask you for that much money and has never even met you is a dangerous situation, besides, he can't really want to marry you, and how do you know he even really lost his wife, he could be lieing to you about the whole thing. Be smart, protect yourself and get out while it's still early.

Kitten, if you've only been "together" online for two weeks and he's asking you for money, dump him. Sounds like a scammer to me!

This is ridiculous. You've never even met him. He could be a serial killer for all you know. Don't let him know where you are.
