hmm thats puzzling me. Are you sure there is not a pre-printed default fine amount on there somewhere for speeding 10mph over. The only other thing I could think of is was it in some kind of special jurisdiction like an Indian reservation or government property I think they sometimes have a traffic court in lue of a specific fine up front. Other than that I suggest you contact the issuing department or the court. Make sure you get it figured out so it doesn't come back to haunt you later.

No. It is highly unlikely that a judge will issue an arrest warrant for failure to pay a resolved speeding ticket. Most likely, you license was suspended for failure to pay. The idea is that suspending your license will convince you to pay what you owe - it is a common collection tool. You shouldn't be driving while your license is suspended. That could easily result in another, more expensive ticket and could be a crime, depending upon the laws of your state. Don't wait for the court date: go pay the fine right away, and ask for information about how to reinstate your license. The process varies from state to state. The CT court will know how to do it.

yeah you can get a ticket for going 10 miles over the speed limit. if there is no court date thats not your fault but you should call the phone number anyway just to make sure.

If the speed limit is 45, then the speed limit is 45, not 55.

I would advise you to show up for the court date. Not showing up could be an implication fo guilt and an automatic fine in your case. I'd advise you to go to court, pay the fine, and try to pay attention to what you're doing while you're driving. Regardless of your opinion on what the speed limit should be (and I think most of us can agree it should be raised), the law is the law, and you violated it.

There should be a number to call. You can call that number to have your fine assessed and pay the fine. If you do not go that route, I strongly suggest you appear in court on the prescribed date.

That means go to the court ,explain your pitifully story on why you was speeding ,ask for a prayer for a judgment, pay the court cost and be free or throw it in the trash and then wait for an arrest.

Give someone a call and find out what your responsibilities are in this matter, or show up at your assigned court date.

Hope this helps.

you can usually call the police station and find our the amount of your fine. the court date is if you wish to go to court to try and fight the ticket. if you don't want to go to court and just want to pay your fine you can do that

this means go to your court house with the ticket and give them money! if you do it before the court date it may save you additional court cost.

Better show up to court, the fine will be assigned then, if not then you have a bench warrant for your arrest.
