ok so im dating one of my best guy friends, and i have so much in common with him. everything is great,i really like him, but im afraid that if we ever break up he wont want to be friends anymore or he'll end up mad at me and the friendship will be down the tubes... help!?

if you're dating, you've already taken the relationship to another level. it will be hard to go back, and if the only reason you'd want to go back to being just friends is fear, then you might as well just break up.
but if you really like him, just go with the flow. stop thinking about what will happen when you break up. that will almost always guarantee a break up.
if you're really friends, you can be friends whether or not the relationship ends.

Why worry about what will hapeen if you break up until a break up occurs. Cros that bridge when you come to it and otherwise don't sweat it. Enjoy the time you have with your boyfriend right now and enjoy every moment to the fullest.

Don't worry about breaking up if you like him now, in the moment. If he's the great guy you think he is, it shouldn't matter. Just concentrate on being his girlfriend now, and enjoy it, and then cross the "break-up-and-still-be-friends" bridge if/when you come to it.

Why do u want 2 break up with him? U need 2 make ur choice by urself u know why u want 2 break up with him. And if he thinks its something stupid then he'll be angry with u.

Why are you afraid that you won't be friends anymore? Is it that you will feel this way towards him or that you think he will feel that way towards you? Frankly I think guys and girls can't be "just" friends anyway ~ too much tension if you know what I mean!

Cross that bridge, if and/or when you come to it. Don't ruin your relationship by thinking about what could or might happen. You might create a self-fulfilling prophesy...just enjoy your moment.

talk to him about it and ask if he promises to always be friends no matter what.
but .. someone's going to get hurt in the end -- so watch out & work things out if something goes wrong.
