find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

You and I are in the same boat. I'm looking to lose some weight this summer before my senior year starts in August. I know I'm going to lose some weight. Anyways, I'm 17 and I weigh 335lbs(I'm not afraid to admit my weight, It's a long story how I got that big. But I don't look like it). Anyways, you know the saying, "Slow and Steady wins the Rest" well, I don't know how much weight you have to lose but if it's anything more than 20lbs, know that it's gonna take time. Don't rush into it otherwise you'll have lose flabby skin at the end and you don't want that lol.

Next, "Eating in Moderation" is the key. To lose weight, you have to cut out all Sweets aka "Junk Food". Cookies, Chips, Soda, Candy etc, you name it. It's okay to have a small cookie or a small cup of soda but don't over do it. Eat three healthy meals a day. Eat plenty of Fruits and Veggies EVERYDAY. Eat Whole Grains like Rice, Pasta and Bread. Also, don't eat lots of fried foods. If you like Chicken, Bake it instead of Frying. Last but not least, drink plenty of water. If your not a fan of water, squeeze a little bit of lemon or use those Crystal Light Packs.

Exercise.....you don't have to do anything real big. Every little bit counts even if it's just 10 or 20 mins of Physical Activity. If you haven't worked out in while, try walking 20 or 30mins. Wear comfortable shoes and a loose shirt and sweat pants. Nothing Fancy your just working out lol.

You use that Advice, you'll lose weight trust me. So far, I've losr about 10lbs just by walking.

Good Luck!

I just need to know what your weight is now? are you talking a coupe of pounds or 50? if you are looking to loose 1 to 25ish just go on a water diet. Have one sensible meal a day (in other words a good dinner, but everything else "think fruit snacks!) then supplement your hunger with water. So pick an exercise routine and drink lots of water! and I mean lots!! to cover your cravings, then only have one real meal a day. supplement your diet with fruits, and you should drop as much as you want. I know it sounds simple but I know you can do this and drop as much as you want, obvious;y over time.
