My father has told me to create a photo album in the PC so that when the printed photos fade away we still have a back up. I dont know how to do it. Please help................................
My fathers is angry he has been tellin me to do this since 7 days.

Tell your father to chill! As long as you have copies of the pictures stored in your computer, then you don't need to have them in a computer album to have back-ups of prints.

Another good option for backup would be an external hard drive. I back up my photos onto one on a regular basis. I also have some images burned to disk, but the quality of the disks may deteriorate with age, so don't count on that totally.

There are two kinds of hard drives: Those that have failed and those that are going to. Having images stored ONLY on your computer is asking for trouble.

Just burn the images onto CD or DVD. Use high quality discs and label the cover for each one. Then every couple of years, pull it out and view it to make sure the images are still OK. When the next new storage media comes along, transfer the images again.
