below is a link on how to make hospital corners. This is how a bunk is made up

In the Navy we had mattress covers (fart sacks), no sheets, when on board ship. All we had to do was fold the blanket and put it at the foot of the rack, same as boot camp. But I was stationed at White Sands Missile Range and we had to do the whole thing of making the bed with hospital corners and all, what a pain.

Hospital Corners like the first guy said.

The top must be folded over the pillow and tucked in, hospital corners.

Then you take boot blousers and tie the SOB down underneath. :) But, when I got out of AIT they were making that against the rules because if it was messed up, but tied down, and the DS tossed it.... it would rip up the sheets since it's tied to the bunk itself, lol.

The first answer has a pretty good link.

Funny thing is, at least in the Navy, you didn't have to make them like that after Basic.

Now, learn how to fold t-shirts like in Basic. That was really interesting.

The prior answer is very good. Wish I had had it when I enlisted.

Make is tight soo the DI can bounce a half dollar off it.

The military doesn't know about fitted bottom sheets.
