Well I'm 16 and I am definitely not happy with my weight/appearance. I am not really overweight but I think I could stand to lose a couple of pounds. Recently, I have been constantly eating for no reason, even if I'm not hungry. I just can't seem to say no to food. Also, I can't seem to find the motivation to get up and exercise. I'll occassionally go out for a run but it's not regularly. The summer is coming up and I don't want to feel like a whale in my bathing suit. Also, when i go back to school next year, I don't want to look like I've gained a lot of weight, which is kind of what I am currently feeling. Does anyone have any tips to help me motivate myself to get in shape and stop myself from eating? I just feel hopeless and am getting more and more upset with my appearance. Help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm drinking more water every day, which curtails some of the empty stomach feeling and flushes stuff through faster before it grabs on and won't let go.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)
