Some more information would help, State / County / City that it occurred in, the actual Statute or Ordinance number that it says on the ticket. Without that information a reasonable answer cannot be given.

Hope this helps.

What you need to do is to call the number on the bottom or back of the ticket and they will ask for your information and the number and/or codes which the officer checked on the ticket. They will tell you where, when, and how much you will need to pay.

Are you talking about failure to yield, as in not pulling over for a police officer, or failure to yield as in not pulling over when an emergency vehicle like a firetruck is coming past?
In California, if you attempt to evade a police officer, the minimum fine is $10,000 and you are sentenced to 6 months to one year in jail.

Depends on where the ticket was issued.

In larger cities in the US, you could be looking at a substantial fine - hundreds of dollars.

In a rural village, you might see a five dollar fine.
