I want to major in business and Biology (not at the same time of course). The thing thats holding me back from majoring in Bio and becoming a Pharmacist is that thats really all I can do with that major, become a pharmacist.

The thing thats holding me back from majoring in Business is that Im scared of getting my degree and not being able to find a good job because everyone has business degrees. Also, Pharmacy is a little more secure. BUT, with business, my GPA will probably be higher and I'll be able to transfer into a better school. What do you guys think?

Well, it should come down to what you would enjoy doing more to be honest. Money can be decent in both areas but what will make it worth it is if you eenjoy what you're doing. If I was choosing I'm probably go pharmacist. You're able to help people directly, with the baby boomers aging there is going to be a strong demand for health care professionals and business can also be very cut throat. It can also be very rewarding of course, but that's just my opinion.

You wouldn't major in biology to become a Pharmacist. You would major in Chemistry with a concentration in Pre-Pharmacy. The links below will tell you the differences. If you major in biology, your option won't be pharmacy, but many other career choices. Best of luck.

pursue more information in the Biology fields, its a BIG business! Is it better to be, a Jack-Of-All-Trades rather than a Master of none? or is it visa-versa?

Get a PharmD/MBA, and have the best of both worlds. That is an extremely common combo degree.
