She wants to go to an online wiccan school, but doesn't have a computer?
Isn't that like wanting to drive in the Indy 500 but doesn't have a car?

I would say that that is the sort of thing te girl should decide. Can't she go to a bookstore first and do some reading and sole practitioner-ing for a bit before she decides on an online school?

But try witchvox for suggestions. This isn't the best Wiccan resource.

The only FREE online Wiccan school which I suppose is #1 (it was the first) is Coven of the Far Flung Net, and they don't take kids.

Witchschool isn't free....I wouldn't call it a Wiccan school, either.

Sunshine you aren't to bright. They don't mean a school as in regular education. They are speaking about a school that teaches Wicca.

Anyway, there are several schools but I'm not sure if they will teach a 12 year old. Do have them check out witchvox. I can say though I'd buy her a couple of books if I were them. It'd be a smarter move.

It is my opinion that she should get a number of books and decide exactly what path she wants to choose. I do not know of any covens who would accept one as young as she anyway. I also believe that a person needs to develop their own set of beliefs and not rely on what someone else wishes to teach them. Maybe start with Buckland's Complete book of witchcraft and Scott Cunningham's Guide for the Solitary Practitioner.
I have been a solitary for over 40 years and have faith in myself. I may be way off base, but I equate witch school with Sunday school. I have a problem with someone telling me what to do and how to do it. That their way is the only way.
Sorry if offended anyone, just my point of view.

If you're talking about Witchschool.com, stay far far away from them -- the owner is trying to sell it, along with the personal information of everyone signed up for courses. In addition, some Wiccans have significant problems with them, as noted in these short articles:

a free wiccan school? At age 12 the girl is required to attend school or be in home school.

Good luck getting into college or checking that box "do you have a high school diploma or GED" on an employment application.

Oh, and priceless they want an online school but don't have a computer.

the entire family needs to be in special ed.

There is nothing there she can't learn in books. We live in a very educated age where knowlege can be found anywhere. I suggest she looks in books for now. A teacher can be found closer to home and more reliable.
