The down fall of our country is coming, we are slowly pushing God out of our schools, homes workplaces and famlies. Some of our cities have already pushed God away and they have been ravaged through acts of nature. Depravity is slowly taking over.

As you can see by the overwhelming number of answers on this site, they have just validated your question. Do you see how quick people are to defend homosexuality? I don't think I saw one thing that that said, "yeah man I hate fags lets kill them all."
Yet if someone had this opinion, they obviously would not share it because they know the consequences of their outspoken words against those of "alternative lifestyles."
And yes, being a homosexual, as with any minority, they can play a "race card", or, "sexual orientation card" when getting fired, or not getting something. They feel discriminated against because they are different and they know they're different. Even a black person in a room hanging our with white people, the white people look at the black person as just another person they are friends with each other. The white people don't feel like they're discriminating against him, but he still feels slightly uncomfortable-THIS MAKES HIM THE RACIST, NOT THE WHITE PEOPLE.
Of course, I don't equate homosexuality with race. Read Romans 1:21+

They get special treatment because they are well organized, are typically financially successful and they have the backing of hollywood, the media and liberal politicians.
To answer the question of a previous poster: preferential treatment exists for these people in the form of:
1. Schools now teach this behaviour as normal and natural.
2. Schools have days where they honor members of this community.
3. Hate crimes legislation will afford persons in this group greater protection than I get. Their lives and belongings must be more valuable than mine.
4. Many employers now afford these people higher levels of protection from being fired.
5. TV shows make them appear fun, witty, kind and always good people.

What did Jesus say about finding fault with other people? Something along the lines of cleaning up one's own back yard before attacking others. Blaming the LGBT community is a tactic used by so many religious people, instead of "loving one another". Frankly, it doesn't bother me because it shows the truth behind the claims of so-called brotherly love for all people. So, keep searching, but don't bother laying any blame at the doorstep of LGBT people. Getting rid of religious bigotry and intolerance would be a good step in ridding society of depravity.

Ah, the old "all natural disasters are actually god murdering people as punishment".

Isn't it funny how natural disasters strike in areas prone to natural disasters, and not in areas where your particular god is worshiped less?

By the way - which god should be worshiped in school? You wouldn't mind it if was Allah, right?

You're the depraved one. Preferential treatment? Because of people like you interracial marriage was illegal in some parts of the U.S. under a decade ago.

Today Christians … stand at the head of [this country] … I pledge that I never will tie myself to parties who want to destroy Christianity .. We want to fill our culture again with the Christian spirit … We want to burn out all the recent immoral developments in literature, in the theater, and in the press—in short, we want to burn out the poison of immorality which has entered into our whole life and culture as a result of liberal excess during the past … [few] years.

Cheryl is an example of a goofy anti-intellectual who is part of the problem. She whines about others, yet she can't see that she is what is bad about society. Bigoted, anti-social, evil. What went wrong with you growing up?

That's delusional talk girl. Try to hang out with different people for a while, maybe your fundamentalist paranoia will lighten up.

Give an example/proof of this preferential treatment. Until you do, the question is unanswerable.

Thank God. When you push God out of the schools, you eliminate at least half of the hatred that religion produces. Love will prevail when we get rid of all religion.

Calm down Shirley Phelps. The only "special preferential treatment" homosexuals get is descrimination including the inability to marry or live freely without prejudice.
