I'm like you....about a month ago I started using philosophy's Pigment of your imagination. It has kojic acid in it which helps even out skin tone & reduce dark spots and prevent new ones. My freckles are slowly becoming less noticeable. It also has an SPF in it. I love this stuff!

Freckles are great! Reasons to Love Freckles:
1] they hide zits
2] they make you look younger longer - I got carded until I was 35! [ and this was when the drinking age was 18! ]
3] they enhance the coloring your face, making it easier to pick out shades for eyeshadow, blush, and lip colors
4] guys love them - I have frequently received offers to 'connect the dots' by forward 'gentlemen'
* you cannot get tan enough for them to fade
** I am 51, have not tanned for years, and have worn sunscreen for the last 30 years, but I still have them!

Put some lemon juice on a cotton ball and rub on your face 2 times a day for 2 weeks. It lightens dark pigments of skin (freckles) just like it lightens hair. If this doesn't work then learn to embrace them. Freckles will always make you look youthful.

Try Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish make-up. It sponges on and provides better coverage without looking heavy, and it contains a built-in sun screen. But don't hate your freckles too much. Most people think they're cute. They give you a fresh, innocent appearance. Use a sunscreen or stay out of the sun, which just makes them darker.

But freckles are so cool! Why would you want to do that?! Anyway, I suppose you could just use a thick plastic layer of make up if you'd prefer to look like a porcelain doll (that's way superficial though).
Avoid sun and heat?

The only way to "remove" freckles is laser surgery, which just doesn't sound worth it. Why would you want to hide freckles though? I have them and I think they are cute, without them I would be so plain and pale!

Katie,
Dont worry about the freckles. They are a part of you. Learn to love them. Accept your self. God made you the way you are for a reason.

Freckles are ok. Don't get rid of your freckles, Lindsay Lohan did and it's been a downward spiral ever since. My sister is a redhead with tons of them and she complains too, but don't change who you are.
