Hello, and God bless you all for taking the time out of your day to read my sincere question. I have a flight schedules with American Airlines in a few weeks, and I have an item that I would like to keep as a carry on item. Would the security people be upset by this question?

Too bad you are not flying with Southwest Airlines. It would make a good show for their series "Airline"! I would pay the network for more shows if you tried this!

Take a look at the things you can't take on a plane as "carry on". I'm sure you will find knives, swords, machetes, and even letter openers. If you try to bring anything else with a blade onto an airplane, you would be arrested before you could say "boo". Are you serious? if you really feel the need to have that with you at all times, rent a car and drive to your destination. Don't be a total idiot!

Uh, probably not. You shouldn't have anything to worry about, though; I don't think heathenous minions of Satan are able to buy plane tickets by current laws.... no photo ID.

Ummmmm....Yea all airlines would have a problem with this, considering the 9/11 incident? Not to mention they rarely let plastic utensils through the metal detectors, so you might wanna drive rather than fly....
