My last question wasn't quite thorough enough. Now I need to know how to assign drive letters, d and e? I'm currently formatting drive c now and I've only created the one partition.

fresh install/no partitions and there should be no ? as to d and e!when formatting asks you about partitions, delete all and go with ntfs not fatt if you format with a partition you are going to end up with your old crap on part of your drive, and when you start your pc its going to ask which partition you want to run, one will be old and one will be the new install, with no partition everything will be brand new when you are done! good luck!!

Cin, when you create the partition, do not assign all the space to C:
Leave enough space for your D: and E:
You can then create the extended partitions with your free space.
