At 94 in a 55, you're looking at a reckless driving charge at the least, and probably dangerous driving. Plan on at least $500 in fines and probably closer to $1,000. That's typically a 6-point ticket and in some jurisdictions you'll lose your license for a short period even on a first conviction.

This is a farily serious item. It's a crimminal conviction in most states, not just a moving violation or infraction. You'd be well advised to get an attorney.

You were lucky they didn't take you straight to jail for going that fast. You will probaby have a hefty fine, like $200-$300. Illinois has had way too many problems with teens losing their lives because of speeding. They are really cracking down on it.

At least $165 in fines + court cost

Where I'm at it is 2 dollars per mph over up to 10 mph over, after that it is $5 per.
I'm surprised they didn't cart your carcass to jail at the scene. If they took your license, how did you get home?
