Here is my situation, I have a DEH-P2900MP Head unit off which i am running a GM-3300T amplifier to run my 12'' sub. Now I have the red and white cord ran from the back of my stereo to my amp, but this remote wire terminal in the back says it needs an adaptor... which i cannot find, do i need to run this wire? is there a place i should look? Any help is appreciated.

You don't need any adapter. Just run a wire (any size) from the blue/white wire on the back of the Pioneer head unit to the remote terminal on the amplifier.

I think you mean the blue amp turn on wire which needs to be connected to amp from head unit, this turns your amp on when you turn your head unit on, not sure if this is what you are talking about. You should have the rca patch cord, the red and white you talk about, connected to the output on head unit and the input on the amp, and the blue amp turn on wire should come off the back of your head unit and connect right to the amp remote.
