Now that's an open-ended question! I wish I knew why you were asking...the social aspects...the workload/education...or even the independence?

I found college to be a great transition between Mom & Dad's house and my own independent life. You start out in a dorm and move to off-campus housing (at least I did...I'm sure other colleges are different), get a meal plan and eat what and when you want to, start paying your own bills, you have to be responsible for attending classes and doing your work (no Mom looking over your shoulder telling you do to your homework before you go out at night).

For me, it was a blast. It was also the hardest thing I ever did (being an engineering major, a TON of work). I didn't study at all in HS and still graduated #1 in my class. This hurt me in college because I thought I could stay status quo. WRONG. Two D's and 18 months later, I finally figured it out. Tons of work, no skipping classes, study partners, etc.

From a social aspect, I was Greek and I liked it. It will be what you make of it...some are very against going Greek...others are for. You have to find the right house for you. But lots of alcohol to go around. The students who don't make it see college as a party time and the school work is just an aside to the social life. Keep the school work #1 and have fun too is my suggestion.

Best of luck!

Yes there a few schools wherein you'll take the ones forms of categories, however they're normally the neighborhood institution ones. four yr school ones require a variety, potentially cash to use, and essays. I had taken a cake redecorating magnificence as soon as at a neighborhood institution. And sure, I did meet my partner at institution. It was once our freshman yr at Michigan State University. We are supposed for each and every different!

To succeed, you have to show up, read, and do all work required for all of your courses. If you want to graduate, you have to put studies first, then party.

Honestly college is what you make it. I loved it because I love to learn and college was a whole new opportunity to do that.
