Have you checked to make sure your cat food isn't the contaminated kind that can poison the cat? That was in the news a month ago. How old is your cat food? You need to research this FAST to make sure, if you don't know the answer! Sometimes sick cats won't eat, if they have a fever, illness, etc. Check your cat food on the internet for China and melanine or something like that.
Also, you may need a trip to the vet, if she's not eating. How about drinking water? is she doing that? Is it possible she swallowed string? cats can swallow things like that they're not supposed to, and can stop them up. You need to ascertain whether she's ill, or has a blockage, or gotten some of that bad cat food that can kill them. Maybe a trip to the Vet is required for this, if you can't make that determination yourself.
But don't put it off, or not telling an adult your concerns. This is SERIOUS, for your kitty, and it's health needs your care, NOW. Get help!

Do you have any chicken broth in the cabinet? If so, open it up and put it on a saucer for her. If she will go for it, it will increase water and calories so she has something in her. Sometimes when cats and kittens get a cold they cannot smell the food and will not eat. If she doesn't show some kind of improvement, I would call a vet. As long as she is eating a little, try the broth and keep her warm. I don't know your situation, but usually you can call the vet and tell them about the symptoms your cat is showing and they can help you on the phone. They do not charge you if they help you on the phone. They will also be able to tell you if this is an emergency.

Hi

It's hard to know what is going on with so little info. Any other symptoms? It almost sounds like she is eating but not as much which may be ok. If she isn't eating you can try tempting her with chicken, tuna, any meats, baby foods w/o onions.

' have been feeding it kitten food, the best of kitten food and add on a little bit of wet food.'

You are obviously feeding dry food which is the WORST thing you can feed yourt cats. Please read up on nutrition, Canned foods w/o gravy is much better for all cats.

Call a vet immediately. She has gone too long without eating. With the proper care, this issue could be resolved but you should get professional advice rather than depend on the internet. With the current recalls of pet foods, you could try Pet's Promise or another type of very high quality food. Bottom line, though, is you need to have her seen by a vet and right away. Good luck!! She's depending on you.

There are lots of reasons for kittens to stop eating. Their health get worse overnight, so get her to the vet right away. You can try putting her wet food in the microwave just until it is barely warm and then she will be able to smell it and might be more inclined to eat it. You need to make sure she is drinking water so she doesn't get dehydrated. The vet is your best bet.

placed the cat in one room to consume and the kitten in yet another room to consume. close the doors so that they could consume in peace. we've a cat and a canine, and that's the way we do it. The cat eats interior the kitchen and the canine's nutrition is interior the bathing room. They bypass away one yet another on my own and that i'm no longer finding out to purchase 20 bags of cat nutrition by fact the canine insists on eating it too. reliable success.

Well if you haven't heared there are some cat foods that makes cats sick and so they don't eat. Not to scare you but my neibor's cat died from it. but if you but dry cat food that your cat should like if might clear out the system. Or the food your are feeding your cat the cat dosen't like it. So she only eats a little when she is really hungry.

have you tried giving her cat's milk? they sell it in small cans in the pet section. also try infant formula, I've raised several kittens off that and they do well, people believe that cats are supposed to be lactose intolerant but formula proves that wrong, you might be able to get some formula at a crisis pregnancy center or any place that helps with formula even try WIC.
