I take B12 dots and prenatal vitamins(not pregnant) and try to eat a balanced diet. I rest when I need to and avoid places that can are likely to be high in infectious germs because the anemia lowers the immune system

I personally feel it is inherited in my family, but I can't prove that. Many times is is lack of proper diet and it can be lack of absorption in the digestive system. When taking vitamin B complex, be sure to take Vitamin C as well. It helps with absorption.

Not enough protein intake cause that. I do not eat meat and have to take iron supplements to stay healthy. Also, an infection could possibly cause it. One other thing might cause it. Drug use. That will screw up your whole system.
