ok now i REALLY like this guy and i think about him alot. but my best friend likes him too. but i don't know how much she REALLy does. so yeah this guy likes me enough to ask me out, but apparently he likes my friend too. and me and my friend talked about this but we just end up saying no u can have him, no u take him. or i want you to be happy so i won't go out with him. and idk who he likes more! plz help me!! oh and plz make it an answer where EVERYONE is happy if possible. :-] spanks!

I realize I am over the hill compared to the daters these days but why does this guy sound like the last piece of cake on a plate. You take it, no you take it, I know you like chocolate.... Why does dating mean a commitment? Can't he go out with both of you, no sex, and have a good time? When did dating, which was meant to find the best partner, change to a lock and chain the minute a guy says, "Would you like...."?
