I'm 16 and am frustrated because I've never had a boyfriend. I'm pretty, blonde, thin, smart and the nicest, most compassionate person you'd ever meet, but I am very quiet and that may be one of the reasons I've never had a boyfriend. But I just get upset because I don't know why a guy dosen't come up to talk to me or do I just have to wait until I'm out of High School? Please help!

It would take a lifetime to answer this but here is a thought.. and try being honest with yourself..
Imagine you are a guy who sees the girl-you or knows you for a little bit.. What does he know about you that would want him to talk to you? Don't imagine that he knows "how nice or sweet" you are.. Try this honestly and you would figure out what you need to be in order to have more friends and boyfriend(s)..

Well, I see a problem already. How come you know all your qualities?
people are supposed to be describing you like that, not yourself. The image you have of yourself, and that you are working really hard on maintaining, might not be the one you project to other people.
You might sound to them, like you are to me a cold, manipulative person and they are staying out of your way. I am not attacking you, don't give me wrong. I am just telling you the truth. You know a little bit too much about yourself. Try rethink your way to interact with people. And if that does not work, then mister right has not met you yet..and there is nothing wrong with waiting.

You've got two options.. Number 1 is you can start putting yourself out there. Find a boy you like & flirt like crazy, go to parties, meet different lads, ask your friend to introduce you to decent boys. Number 2 is you can wait until you're older & wiser, and find the right men. You might go through a lot of men before you find the 'one'. My nan always said 'you've got your whole life to get boys'. Don't feel pressured to have a boyfriend.. You know you're gorgeous & you don't need a boyfriend to prove it =] x

im sure you are a wonderful person and many people would be very lucky to haveyou. dont worry you will finda boyfriend and sooner or later you will find the one. im lucky cause i am 15 and have had a 1 year 5 month relationship and im ugly. trust me if i could do it you could. hold your head up high and have confidence talking to boys. dont be afraid of rejection because its worth it find the right guy. good luvk and have confidence in yourself!

don't worry about it! I was the same way (looks almost and everything too!) I didn't have a bf until 19 and I was soo happy that I waited for a true caring relationship instead of a horny high school one! I'm still with him!

Im sorry to say this. Guys are dogs. It is probly better if you waited for that special someone. Atleast you wont have to go through all of the extra drama and stress.

If you want a boyfriend and you really are all those things then you shouldn't have a problem. If you are interested in someone, why don't you make the first step? Just go up and say hi and introduce yourself.

if your good looking and nice like you say then you should separate yourself from the group sometimes. i mean really stand alone in the hall sometimes .
if that fails to work then just go and talk to some boy that you think you would like to date and flirt with him .
some girls are too good looking and as such dont get asked out. that might be you might ok

You need to keep a constant smile on your face and make Direct Eye Contact with people you find "interesting" or 'possibilities'. You say they don't come up to you, but could you go up to them? Maybe they find it as difficult as you do. Stay hopeful and don't look glum. You'll find one soon.

hun dont worry i didnt have a gf until i was 20 years old. i didnt regret waiting so long but if u dont then u should try talking to ur parents, a consulor, or ur best friend
