The funniest thing about this whole situation to me is that the basis for all religions is based upon the idea that 2000yrs ago someone told the absolute truth and against all psychological reason has been passed down without a single misinterpretation during these centuries. PREPOSTEROUS if you have any difficulty understanding what I mean then try this as an experiment.
1) Take six people and tell one of them a joke.
2) Tell that person to repeat the story verbatim to the next person.
3) Continue this process and when you get to the last person compare that version to the original and see the difference.
4) Remember that written language that we can translate does not go back more than a couple of centuries and this means we are totally dependant on the first three processes.
5) Don't shoot the messenger.
