I have so much respect for Jr but reading all his fans comments on HMS drivers just ticks me off. My fiance (#8 fan) wont even cook since she read my previous thread that got pulled. What should I do? Should I keep retaliating the Gordon bashing?

I Like Jr and hope he does well.What would be good is he lands at HMS then what are they going to say ?About all of those jerks bashing HMS,just ignore them they are just mad that are boys are STOMPING Theirs,guess I'm lucky my wife is a Jimmie Johnson fan,but JEFF GORDON RULES !!!!!

It's just the way it is. Personally, I'm starting to like Hendrick and 3 of the 4 drivers there (NEVER am going to like Jimmie Johnson and his cheating crew chief), but I am a LOYAL Jr. fan. The thing that people haven't figured out yet, is you can be a Junior and Gordon fan, at the SAME time. I don't think it will be figured out until at least after they both leave NASCAR racing.

I don't know why fans have to bash other fans. I feel if you're one drivers fan and your other half is another drivers fan, then why can't 2 people just agree to disagree without so much drama?? Also, I don't believe name calling and other bashing on-line is appropriate. I think you should be civilized enough to disagree without such HATE. I think you can good-naturedly root for and razz other fans and still have a good time.

You can't let a bunch of bozo's get to you. I'm more of a Nascar fan than any driver fan. Most of the drivers in that garage deserve a ton of respect for what they do. I wish everyone would get a grip. If you want to be a fan, then be a fan. Don't be a hater.

I'm not for any HMS drivers but I wish people would shut up about it.HMS is just kicking our drivers butt.Roush had the upper hand when Busch was there but that was then now it has changed hands.HMS just has the best drivers.

there's no need to retaliate. gordon is above the fray. he answers all his critics on the track. you may as well do the cooking if you want to eat. your probably a better cook anyway.

The reason there is Gordon bashing is because of two things: He has a cocky, unfriendly attitude and his fans are the quickest to get nasty.
Dale Jr. is so well liked because of his great personality.

Funny. Retaliate all you want. Gordon is the most disliked driver in Nascar. It's made obvious by the fans reaction to him. Hell... they have to mute the sound when he wrecks to drown out the cheering crowd. Take Talledega... all those fans wasting good beer trying to hit the #24 car. My question is... who has the most sugar in their tank? Gordon, Johnson, McMurray or Clint Bowyer.

my gosh it is a sport my husband & I are #8 fans his son & girlfrend are # 24 fans we all go crazy about our driver . But lets face it it all in good fun.
