What's your question? Your mom is just being a MOM, and it may seem like its YOUR body but your living in her house right? Her house, her rules. Plus you wouldn't be here with out her, nor would you have any body to put any ink on. Just wait 2 more years, it won't kill you - plus you might change your mind by then.

Tattoos are kind of silly. I do have six tattoos. I've had mine for a very long time. Tattoos don't look particularly good on people either. Sadly people find out what they thought was a great idea turns out to be a horrible idea later on. Having a tattoo removed costs many times more than it did to have it applied. Since almost everybody has tattoos why not be different and go without a tattoo. Tattoos do turn off many employers. You would be better off to wait because things that sound like such a great idea when we are young seem foolish when we get older.
Your mom knows how difficult it is for young people to think clearly. I remember how nothing came fast enough or how my thinking wasn't always the best.
You might want to be a Doctor, or work in some other important profession and you don't want a tattoo to hinder you.
Being classy never hurt anybody.
My nephew never took drugs or drank, because of it it allows him more opportunity. If there is a job that needs a background check or security clearance he can be truthful and say with pride that he never did either.
It is much the same with a tattoo, they will see you as a much classier person without one. You won't have to try and hide it when you try and find a good job.

What is the dilemma? Artist won't touch you....you need to be 18.
If you're only 15...sorry to say but you're not done growing physically or mentally yet. You don't even have a driver's license yet!
So, can you honestly say that what you have tattooed on your at 15 years old is still going to be "cool" or have meaning to you when you're 30, 40, 50? I'm almost 30 and just got mine last year - I'm glad that I waited for something to really inspire me...and it's something that i KNOW that I will NEVER grow tired of or dislike because of what it represents to me and what the tattoo is of. If I got a tattoo representing something I liked at 15...it definately would have been covered up by now.
Going to have to wait....your mom isn't trippin...I def would not have let u get one either.

Don't get at tattoo at 16. Trust me. I'm not sure where you live, but I live in GA and it's illegal to tattoo a minor, even with parental consent. Just give it a few years. That way, not only will you not -need- your mothers permission, but you will have time to decide if you're realy sure about your tattoo design.
Trust me. I wanted a tattoo from the age of, like, 8. I waited until I was 18 and have gotten 10+ tattoos since then. It won't kill you to wait, and in the end you will be glad you did.

You're the one who is "trippin'". The next two years will shoot by so fast, you'll forget you even wanted a tattoo in the first place. Slow down and enjoy high school while it's still there, because time flies by. And don't bug your mom, she doesn't have to do anything she doesn't want to. You're on this earth because of her, show her some respect. In two years, you're not going to even want the same tattoo. Chill out, you're a minor.

I agree with Lacey's comment. Your mum is looking out for you and she doesn't want you to regret something which is quite permanent. It is difficult to accept her saying no, but sometimes waiting those 2 more years until you can gte it done for youself may be worth it.
You might consider coming to an agreement and saying if you still want it in 12 months maybe she would consider helping you then? That will give you time to keep thinking about what you want and her time to come to terms with it.
the second answer about getting aids is ridiculous. You don't catch aids, you catch HIV which can lead to aids. But in a sense that girl is right... A dingy place will do a bad job at your design which will be cool in the end and waiting a short period and talking to your mum about it would be sooo the way to go...
take it easy man and make sure you show it off to your mates in 10 months or 2 yrs.

I dont rather understand how the tattoo can run.. ..till you the two won or lost some weight, or the tattoo replaced into too small at first. in case you get writing of any sort, a physically powerful artist will inform you to get the tattoo greater to stay away from it from looking like a blob once you grow previous. Dont get it on your wrists. Get it someplace else.

Get yourself a long needle and a bottle of india ink and go for it. You will have to wrap a thin piece of thread close to the end of the needle otherwise it won't hold much ink. Or perhaps you don't have the courage or artistic talent to do that. Your life is just beginning, and all your life you will be judged for that picture on your arm. Heck, get enough tattoos and you will never be inducted into military service. The bible says honor your father and mother that your days may be long on this earth. So if you honor your mother you might even live longer? Well, you've asked for advice. You can learn from other peoples wisdom, or you can learn from experience. The choice is yours. I hope you make the right one. Good luck.

i am a big fan of tattoos. i absolutely love them. i only have 5 but i have decided to space them at least 6 months to a year apart so i wont get to covered to fast. but i would not let my child get a tattoo b4 18. when i think about the things that were important to me then. i just wouldn't want to have anything i would have picked then on me now. and besides you are still physically growing and your skin is changing.its a right of passage just wait it out.
