I run a small in home day care, home school my 2 children , and I help my friend who works part time home school her child. She brings work to my home, assigned by her parents, and I simply keep her accountable and help her out with her work. That way I am providing care, but her mom is in charge of her lessons. It gets very busy, but it works.
Good luck!

Way to get the word out: advertise. Churches, schools, grocery store bulletin boards, friends, newspapers...
Homeschooling others: The "can I" will depend on the laws where you live. How? How you would normally homeschool kids. The advertising would be like for the daycare, except you would extend it to homeschooling support groups. Would you get paid? Uh, would you really be willing to do it without getting paid? The parents would have to pay. You would have to decide what you would charge, what they have to supply, etc. You'd have to find out how that would work where you live--could you just consider it childcare? Or would you have to run it as some other type of business?

If you have a yard that looks geared to children and a sign that says 'daycare spaces available' or even just 'Daycare' you'll probably get interest. You could also advertise at the local school for daycare spaces.
If you want to home school other people's kids join a home school group and let them know that you're available if they need aid, get the parents to provide the curriculum and find out the legalities etc...
And if you were homeschooling kids younger than the required age to go to school it wouldn't matter.

I don't believe you are allowed to homeschool any other children but your own, unless of course, you have a degree and a license to teach in your state.
As far as a home daycare, that's fine, and get the word out by telling friends and family who know people with small children. Also, make fliers and put them in local grocery stores. Lots of parents go to those, obviously.
Maybe even try passing fliers out in churches.
Best of luck.

Each state has different laws concerning who can educate children. For example in Florida where I live I can teach my child but a certified teacher is the only other one that can teach him. Checkout the link below to find your state and learn about it's laws concerning homeschooling.
Usually a sign in the front yard works wonders for home daycare ads. See if your church will allow a post in the nursery area. From there word of mouth works well.

You can tutor other homeschooled children, but each child has to be tutored independently. The majority of teaching for each child has to be separate. You might find it easier to provide a learning atmosphere for homeschooled children whose parents take responsibility for their work. I am thinking about doing this. The parents would provide the work and evaluate the work the child does and you would provide an atmosphere that promotes education,. such as a private work space and possibly a computer, maybe trips to the library, occasional field trips to local museums and assistance as needed to the children.

Depends on what state you are in . In Georgia , as long as you graduated high school , you can homeschool other children. I am a college student and I homeschool my children. But, when I am in class I pay someone else to do it.

Yes, you can in some states.
Here in Missouri, you can teach other people's kids.
Check the laws of your state.
Then look up...How to get started.
Check out homeschoolers of America.
Hope this helps.

Homeschooling has laws as to who can teach. You can teach your own children at home but need to contact state education department on laws for teaching other children.
