The best way, which works for me is Sahaja Yoga Mediation. First I tried it and didn't feel anything, but suddenly my heart opened, and I felt tremendious cool vibrations in my hands.
Anger and stress automatically disappeared, because I learned about the source, inside my body. It comes from too much heat in the body, when we think too much into the future, do too many activities, sports, etc. In Sahaja Yoga I've learned how to balance this by simple treatments. The people, who are explaing are always very sweet and supportive. You can check out their website: www.sahajayoga.org

I started out as a beginner with the 'counting breaths' meditation. After a while I didn't need to count, I could just slide down into that calm place in my mind. I enjoy walking meditation a lot too, walk and get completely into that activity, mind and body.

I first go in silent prayer for a while before I start. I sometimes read in the Palms. I observe each verse and find the key words. It helps a lot when trying to understand an unclear verse. I like to print out the chapters that I will be reading and get my colored pencils and mark the words on the paper. My sister and I started doing this and this has worked best for me. God Bless!

Affirmation is the direction of prayer. The question should be clear and to the point. Say the words as many times as it takes to find the minds vision come to fruition.

Breath slow and quiet, in through the nose out through the mouth. Hold your breath awhile after inhaling and be very quiet and still, in that moment you are with God.
