She seems to be chewing with only her front teeth...and chews very carefully in the back. I check her mouth often to see if I see the problem and all I see is new teeth!

Her gums seem like they could be a little bit sore from the new teeth coming in. You can try to put a dab (not to much) baby orajel on the gums before she eats so that it isn't so painful. Good Luck.

Yes, the teething could very well account for the problem. Make sure she has chew toys.

Yes, her gums are sore. Try freezing an old wash cloth that's soaked in water, then give her that to chew on - it's really soothing to sore gums.
