The definition of bulmia is: an eating disorder which is generally considered a psychological condition in which the subject engages in recurrent binge eating followed by an intentional purging.
Therefore, if you ate that amount of food, and then made yourself throw up, you are pretty much considered bulimic.
However, the problem with bulimia is that not only is it damaging to the body, you usually cannot vomit all the food out.
I definitely would not recommend this. Even doing it occasionally can upset your body's balance, ruin your teeth, and cause dehydration.
The best idea when you feel like bingeing is to practice self control and eat something healthy instead. If you do "slip up", exercise that day and burn off the calories instead of trying to get rid of them, and try to do better the next day.

hi. i can sympathize w/ u. i would tend to over eat, or crave something really unhealthy like taco bell, and would eat it. then feel so guilty, and run and purge. the bad part of this is, is that you never get skinny that way, because your body is still absorbing the calories, even though you think you are getting rid of the food. this is why most bulimcs look normal, not anorexic. but then it becomes a bad habit, and you will find yourself doing it all the time. your stomach and throat will begin to rot from all the stomach acid. its a bad and unsuccessful journey you are headed on. please stop immediately or talk to your dr if you can't. try to learn that you do not put on weight from one meal, just like you do not take weight off in one day. next time you slip up- go for a walk or jog to help the food digest and you will feel so much better! good luck

It means you are bulimic, and you do have an eating disorder. If you binge, then purge, more than once, the definition applies.
And no, it's not as if you never ate the food.
I URGE YOU TO RECOGNIZE THAT YOU HAVE A PROBLEM AND GET HELP.
My good thoughts will be coming your way.

I would recommend that you see your primary care physician as soon as possible for an evaluation of your eating/ purging habits. Bulimia is nothing to mess around with. I know- its almost killed me. Your habits are deffinatly out of the ordinary so while I can't diagnose you a physician can and so you need to see one.
