my cat is sneezing, has runny eyes and nose. she wont drink. and she is sleeping on my bed all day. i try to make her drink but she wont. what is wrong and what should we do.

thank you everyone i took Sophie to the vet and they say that yes she does have allergies. she does have an infection. but also she has some sort of worm that wont let her eat. we got medicine for her and she is getting better.

It may be upper respitory infection, take her to the vet promptly!

I agree with a possible respiratory infection. Kitties catch colds just like people do.
Keep her comfortable until you take her to the vet, and don't let her get in any drafts.

i absolutely agree with everyone who has said to get kitty to the vet asap. he does sound sick. however, one of my 3 cats actually does have allergies and sneezes just like a person with allergies. when we were told this we joked that mikos was allergic to the kids and it was a shame, since we would miss them, the kids, not the cats!! lol

Sounds like your cat has some upper respiratory issue that needs medical attention. I recommend you keeping her away from other cats, it is highly contagious and for you to wash your hands well after handling her and to take her to the vet.

it sounds like a URI the vet will give you antibiotics and it should take care of it it is really common in cats

i think your cat has a sinus infection.. or has got cat flu..goodluck at the vets..
