I believe that if the dog has a limited registration, then the BREEDER IS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN CAN CHANGE THE REGISTRATION TO A FULL REGISTRATION. I got a dog from a gal who had not registered the dog, the AKC told me that since I WAS THE BREEDER, that I was the one who could apply to change the status of the dog - not the owner of he dog. But to be on the safe side call the AKC and check out what they have to say.
I believe the AKC web site is AKC.org.

The number is the breeders pin number for that dog..if that number was blacked out or otherwise not showing then it would be limited registration..since it is showing it means you have full registration.

If a canine's individual registration software has been lost, the clutter proprietor ought to contact the AKC to request a reproduction. The clutter proprietor will prefer to post a reproduction canine Registration software or grant ideal the following: * a short actuality soliciting for a reproduction registration software * clutter style, breed and date of delivery * clutter proprietor's call, address and signature * sex of canine the reproduction software is for * $15.00 processing value If the clutter style is unknown, grant ideal the following rather: * Names, registrations numbers, and breed of the sire and dam * Date of delivery of the clutter a clean registration software will be mailed to the clutter proprietor at the same time as the request is processed. if you're effectual in doing this, the subsequent step in breeding responsibly is proving the canine advantage by competition or fairly operating situations, passing well-being clearances like hips, eyes and heart certifications and searching the right lady who also meets the above said criteria. there are a kind of poorly bred dogsin this international, so even if it can not be done properly, it should not be done in any respect. in the adventure that your canine don't have papers, there is not any genuine thanks to get them now.

Its good to go. If the breeder would have chosen Limited, the box would be completely darkened. Not sure what the numbers mean but your papers are full registration.

You can still register your puppy for full registration to the AKC just fill out the paper work like you normally would, and send it in. There should be no problem, you will get the dogs papers in a few weeks, fully registered with the AKC
