After 2-3 casual dates, with limited intimacy (maybe a kiss goodnight), some men are all set to jump into a relationship with me, wanting to see me alot & meet their friends etc.The same scenario happens again & again. Of course I can think it is my charm & beauty...LOL.....but I am not that vain. (I also don't want a committed relationship at this stage of my life, & I make it known up front.) Is this a sign of a very needy person? A guy thing? I have found it better to just not respond to the phone calls, instead of being honest & telling them I am not interested beyond friendship.. because when I am honest, their ego is so bruised, they insult me & it makes me feel like a bad person.......why should I feel this way, just because they don't interest me? How would it best be handled?

Wow I have found the opposite to be true. Most men don't really want to be in a relationship. However since ALL women do, they know to pretend in order to move things to the point they want. Do you get the hint?

Sounds like you are dating a bunch of mealy mouthed douchebags with no self respect. What "cool" guy would wnat to jum into a relationship???? You are dating losers and need to change the places you frequent to get a normal guy.
